FACE-TO-FACE TAROT READINGS

All face to face readings are strictly By Appointment Only (no walk-ins – I book up in advance) and take place at my private tarot office – Suite 5, 134-140 King St Newtown, opposite Missenden Rd. The doorway to my office building is next door to Aesop. It is a security building and you will only have access if you have a scheduled appointment.

The office building doesn’t have wheelchair access unfortunately. If you want a face to face reading and need an accessible venue in order to do so, there are cafes on King Street that can accommodate us – please let me know at time of booking.

  • Book an appointment via the link below. I do tarot readings on Sundays, and occasional weekdays depending on my schedule with Life Rites Funerals . The pop up weekday appointments will open with 1-2 days notice and be announced here and on Instagram and Facebook when live.
  • Due to the unpredictable nature of end of life work, I don’t open my bookings calendar more than two weeks in advance. This means that I can better guarantee my availability for you, and I am less likely to need to reschedule our appointment. And, it means you don’t have to wait as long for your reading once you’re booked in. Thank you for your patience!
  • My bookings calendar opens at midnight on Sundays (i.e Saturday night) for Sunday appointments two weeks from that date. Sometimes you might stumble upon my calendar when someone has just cancelled! If you have a gift voucher (please note I am no longer issuing new gift vouchers), I am very flexible with the expiry dates. You are welcome to message me via the contact form below to book your appointment.
  • Appointments in May: I am tarot reading on Sunday May 5 (fully booked), Sunday May 12 (fully booked), Sunday May 19 (appointments open Sunday May 5 at midnight, i.e Saturday night) and Sunday May 26 (appointments open Sunday May 12). Possible weekdays will be listed here and on socials with 1-2 days notice.

Before booking an appointment:

It is important that you read my Policy & Ethics page, which also details my cancellation policy (I require 24 hours notice of any rescheduling or cancellations otherwise you will required to pay for 100% of the session fee). 

If you have had a tarot reading with me before, please allow at least 6-8 weeks between readings. More information about this and more on my FAQ page.

If you wish, your session can be recorded digitally and emailed to you as an mp3 file later that day. This is included in the price of the reading. Very rarely a technical mishap might occur and the recording doesn’t work. My apologies if that does happen to you, however I cannot take responsibility for the whims of technology. You are welcome to bring your own recording device if you prefer. Sometimes clients like to do both, as a back-up!

First-time clients, and clients I haven’t seen for a few years/can’t find in my records:

You will need to pay at least 50% of the session fee in advance, at time of booking. If this presents a problem, let me know. We might be able to sort something out. Unfortunately I have had to implement this request to counteract those who don’t show up or cancel last minute! Being a sole trader has its challenges, and I appreciate your understanding.

When you enquire, I will send you the payment details. Please pay this within 24 hours so as to hold your appointment. This payment is non-refundable and goes towards the total cost of your reading. You can reschedule your booking once without a fee, as long as you contact me more than 24 hours before your appointment. If I don’t receive your payment within 24 hours of booking I can’t guarantee that appointment time for you, however I won’t cancel it without checking in with you first, just in case you have forgotten.

How to pay for your reading:

I accept cash, Online Banking, Credit Card (Visa, Master Card and American Express), Eftpos chip card, Contactless, PayPal.

All payment details will be provided at time of booking.

How to get to my office

Public Transport: 

There is a bus stop 50 metres away: If you are coming from the city get off at the bus stop on King St near Watkin St. This bus stop is serviced by buses 422, 423, 426, 428, 352, 370 and M30. If you are coming from the opposite direction, get off on King St near Missenden Rd, then cross King St.

It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk there from Newtown Train Station (T2 lines) – turn RIGHT onto King Street as you leave the station, then just walk straight up towards the city;  

It takes approximately 8 minutes to walk from Macdonaldtown Train station (T2 Inner West & South Line) – turn right out of the station onto Burren St, left onto Wilson St, right onto Bucknell St, left onto King St;  

It takes approximately 12 minutes to walk from Erskineville Train Station (T3 Bankstown Line) – cross Erskineville Road, walk up Burren St, left onto Wilson St, right onto Bucknell St, left onto King St.

Parking:

It is limited, but certainly not impossible to find! There is free 2 hour parking in the backstreets on the East side of King St, for example, Georgina St, Bucknell St, Yaralla St, Wilson St, Watkin St, Brown St, Queen St and Forbes St. Parking inspectors are persistent. If you park on King St (metered parking), be aware of the clearway times of 3pm or 3:30pm (until 7pm) on weekdays, depending on what side of the road you’re on. The tow trucks are very efficient. Good luck! 

Bicycle Parking:

There are two City of Sydney bicycle parking rails in the courtyard 20 metres away from the entrance to the building, and an abundance of random poles in the vicinity!

I have been a professional tarot reader since 2002 and I will always bring my focussed time and energy to your reading. PHONE & VIDEO CALL TAROT READINGS

I do tarot readings via Phone, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Google Meet, Zoom and Signal.

Video call readings are ideal for interstate and international clients, as well as locals who don’t have the time to travel for an appointment (lunch breaks at work are a good time), or if you don’t want to leave your home for whatever reason, or if you are ill, or there is inclement weather…

I can do Phone readings for clients in Australia.

I often get asked what the difference is between an in-person reading and a phone or video call reading. For me, I feel just as connected to you and the tarot cards whether we are in the same room together or at the other end of a phone or laptop! Clients who have experienced readings with me in-person as well as via phone or video chat say that it’s just as powerful. You can have control over how the cards fall by telling me when to stop shuffling. The main difference is you won’t be in my lovely office, drinking a cup of tea that I made for you (I encourage you to make yourself a cuppa to enjoy with your reading – tarot and tea go very well together)!

TAROT READINGS AT EVENTS

I am available to do tarot readings at events in the CBD, Inner City Suburbs, Eastern Suburbs and the Inner West. I am regularly hired by events companies to do readings at parties with several hundred guests, and sometimes several thousand! Over the years I have done many readings at corporate functions and Christmas parties. Past clients include Dior, Vogue, Sarah & Sebastian, Swarovski, Vida Glow, White Rabbit Gallery, Gritty Pretty, Hendrick’s Gin, and Harbour Hoopla (NYE at the Royal Botanic Gardens 2017 & 2018).

I am able and happy to work in a noisy, bustling environment – though it is better for my voice and your guests’ capacity to hear me, if I am situated away from any live music or speakers. I have an hourly rate, work for a minimum of 1.5 hours and maximum of 5 hours. I am available for events at public venues/spaces, only.
