I started tarot reading professionally in 2002, then transitioned to full-time one year later. In hindsight it would have been less hair-raising to wait at least another year or two before making it my sole form of income, but I don’t regret the decision at all. . Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my business along the way, at every stage of my career. I am grateful for everyone’s support, but right now I want to say a big thank you to clients who were there before Facebook and Instagram and before Googling businesses became a thing, when I was writing in rainbow coloured chalk on the pavement, then hanging a flag outside of the shops I worked from, relying on word of mouth and of course my trusty flowery tarot bicycle to spread the word. . I started off reading tarot in a little room the size of a broom closet at the back of a crystal shop, and now I have my very own office looking over King St, Newtown. It’s been quite the ride and I love it. Even the challenging days have never failed to help me learn more about why I do this work. . So here’s to the Devil year of my career 😈😂! A year of challenging any doubts head on, of looking carefully at all the details, and blasting apart any old ideas from myself or society about what it means to be a tarot reader. .
